JetX - In the year 2132, the labyrinth of high speed freeway tunnels underneath the Earth’s surface are now abandoned. After a day of work in the chemical factories that cover and poison the planet, workers return to their homes on the Moon to watch the 29th annual JetX: the high-speed jet race streamed live from the abandoned tunnels. The factory owners and wealthy elite watch in comfort from Mars. What started as a race between a stuntman and a prototype racing bot has become an interplanetary sensation. No other sporting event has resulted in the amount of viral videos, spectacles, celebrities, and merchandise as JetX. Due to the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning, on-site spectators and contestants are required to wear air-filtering equipment. Due to the jet engines, the tunnels reach dangerously high temperatures between 102 to 150 degrees Fahrenheit. In accordance with mandate 571 Section B, race organizers must provide water bottles and synthetic peanuts.
